What’s up everyone.

Just finished a huge 2 week road trip (more like 2 separate weekends of traveling but it feels like we’re never home). We were in Cleveland and Pittsburgh 2 weekends ago and Rochester and Atlanta this past weekend. I’d just like to point out that there is absolutely no rhyme or reason we take the flights we do. We never take a direct flight, we always decide to leave before the sun comes up, half the kids traveling always check in to find their names spelled wrong so we wait around for an hour there and we have 3 hour layovers everywhere we go. Traveling is probably more tiring than the games.
Anyways, we won 4 big games so we’re really happy about that. Every team in the UAA is real solid this year and it feels like on any given night any team could beat anyone else so you can’t relax for a second this year in conference play.
I’m super excited to be home this weekend to 1-play in front of our bomb squad (phi delt fraternities fan section) and 2-…to not travel. Its going to be beautiful but then were gone the next weekend again but enough looking into the future. We haven’t been playing as well as we should be and everyone knows it. It hasn’t been clicking but recently we’re taking steps in the right direction so I think we’ll be just fine for the rest of conference and hopefully for a long post season run.
Aside from basketball I’m just trying to get caught up in all my classes. I seem to find a way to schedule classes that give me an insane amount of work/reading for 2nd semester when we do all our traveling so that is always fun. I’m keeping my fingers crossed but I think I’ll be okay. Aside from that I’m trying to figure out what I’m going to do this summer. Plan is to find an internship here in St. Louis and take a summer school class/find a job at night to get some money in my pocket. A lot of the guys are planning on staying here over the summer so I think it would be a real fun time living together and doing g-d knows what. We’ll keep it safe though for sure.
Finally, I’ve been working on two committees to play 2 big events at the end of the year so thats taking up a lot of my no-so-free time. There is the Linus foundation that puts on a huge event for people at Wash U and the proceeds go to children’s charities in the area then I’m also planning an athlete formal which is kind of like a prom for all the athletes here at Wash U that we put on at the end of the year. Busy man right now-time to shower and go to operational supply chain management (yes it is JUST as bad as it sounds).
Hope all is well and I’ll check in again soon!
