Saturday Special: Giants 5, Rangers 2

Winning tickets to a San Francisco Giants game equates to some awfully fun times on a brilliant weekend afternoon.

I wore orange and black – quite easy for me since it’s a huge staple in my wardrobe thanks to my alma mater (Go Pokes!). I partook in Gilroy Garlic Fries. I saw why Triples Alley has it’s name and watched as the Rangers got a Splash Hit to McCovey Cove. My mascot soft spot had me cheering for Lou Seal as he tossed peanuts from the top of the dugout. I even got to see the Belmont Stakes play on the big screen as a Giants pitching change came at just the right time.

And I saw San Francisco ‘sing’ their way to a win behind the arm of Ryan Vogelsong in their 115th consecutive sellout as one of the 42,418 fans in the stands. Nice to meet you in person, AT&T Park!
