By the numbers: 2012 NBA All-Star point guards

2012 NBA All-Star point guards

I cannot deny that I fully support the point guard of the Oklahoma City Thunder – and always have. I do, however, know some folks that do not. And some don’t even think he has any business playing in tonight’s All-Star Game. Most frequently, Russell Wesbrook’s less-than-good numbers when it comes to assist-to-turnover ratio are used to prove his unworthiness. But. There are more numbers than one. And if you compare Westbrook to tonight’s other All-Stars, I see a pretty dang good (and well-deserving) player, if I say so myself.

Oh. And the first half stats for Mr. Westbrook? 17 points on 8-of-11 shooting and four rebounds in 12 minutes. Just saying.
