I am fortunate enough to be a friend of the Sports Information Director for Oklahoma City University. Rich Tortorelli has been gracious enough to provide me with tips and tricks on the sports information profession as well as allow me the opportunity to practice my craft with the various NAIA-level sports in which the Stars participate.
Some newfound skills that I have learned through my relationship with Oklahoma City University include keeping computerized statistics for women’s volleyball, soccer and basketball. Also, I have had the opportunity to practice my press release writing skills and action photography in a multitude of sports. My gratitude goes to Rich and the Oklahoma City University athletic department for their guidance!
